Niwot is at an important moment. The community is still deciding whether incorporation is the right path forward, and that choice belongs entirely to the residents. If Niwot chooses to incorporate, we will need a charter that reflects who we are a semi-rural town with deep roots, a strong sense of place, and a commitment to protecting what makes this community special.
I’m running for the Charter Commission because, if voters decide to move ahead with incorporation, I want to help ensure the charter is built thoughtfully, transparently, and with broad community input. My goal is to help create a document that keeps decision‑making close to home, respects the history of this land, including the legacy of Chief Niwot, and gives residents a clear voice in shaping the future.
My commitment is simple: listen to the community, be transparent, and help build a foundation that supports Niwot for generations to come, if residents choose to take this step.
